CLEAR: a framework for mentoring relationships

There is overwhelming evidence that career mentoring is linked with professional success and job satisfaction. However, mentoring relationships are not only difficult to establish but hard to nourish in a world where schedules are filled with commitments. Both mentors and mentees are often confronted with having to manage their work, team, and grow their public profile leaving little time for developing working mentoring relationships. Mentoring can take different forms. It can be natural, formal, professional, personal, among many others.
